Anders Wiig
I’m an electrical engineer with a passion for smart solutions. I like IoT and embedded applications and technology. I am also interested in electrical and power systems such as motors, powergrids, generators and so on.
I am an IoT decveloper and a graduated electrical engineer with previous experience working as a IT service technician. I hold two bachelor degrees, one as an electrical engineer and one in media and IT. I also have additional IT experience from other prevoius IT studies.
In my bachelor thesis I created a LoRaWAN system for conveying measurements data to a back-end system with support for user notification. Details on this project can be found here.
Personal interests are nature photography, hiking, kayaking and gaming. I try to be creative when I see motives and or opportunities for that.
To describe myself further:
I like to develop innovative solutions: I like new technology and to use it to develop solutions to relevant problems. Previous project work, especially my bachelor thesis demonstrates this.
I am good at problem solving: Through previous work and education, I have become good at finding out which solutions can answer different problems and different customers needs. This has made me good at being solution-oriented.
I will support you: I like to support others if there is knowledge or skills I have that can be helpful to others. I also like to help out where I can with other tasks I feel I can solve.
I do my best: I am dutiful and accurate in my work. I try to solve my tasks and my area of responsibility in a good way. Previous employers have certified me to be accurate, to focus on quality in my work and to have high quality in my deliveries.
I like to learn something new: I am willing to learn and I am flexible. I have a longer background in education and hold two bachelor’s degrees. This, as well as my varied background shows that I am versatile, not afraid to learn something new, or to go into unknown terrain.
